美国总统当选人川普上任後可能建立国家比特币战略储备，但作为比特币怀疑论者的黄金大多头、贵金属交易商 SchiffGold 创办人 Peter Schiff 先前多次明确表示，他反对美国政府建立战略比特币储备的想法。
Peter Schiff 在 10 日曾喊话，美国总统拜登在卸任前，应出售所有联邦政府目前持有的比特币，称透过此举筹集到的资金，可以减少 2024 年的预算赤字，还能终结所有关於建立战略比特币储备的荒唐想法。
